4.8/5 overall

The tiles have a nice weight, and the markings are easy to read across the table.
Happy with the set so far.

Bought this as my first set.
Everything fits in the bag, although getting the racks back in takes some patience.

The colors are slightly softer than the photos, which I actually prefer.
Really pretty in person.

We play once a week, and the tiles still look good after a few months.
The zipper is my only concern.

Lovely set, but the numbers are a little small for me.
My daughter has no trouble reading them.

I spent way too long choosing a set.
This one makes me happy every time I unpack it.

The tiles are great.
The carrying case feels like the part they saved money on.

A friend brought this to our game night, and I liked the feel enough to get my own.

Pretty without being difficult to play with.
You can still recognize the suits immediately.
It’s heavier than I expected.
Fine for playing at home, less convenient for walking to our weekly group.
Two tiles arrived with uneven paint.
They’re readable, but I expected a cleaner finish for the price.
My mom liked the large markings right away.
We’ve tried prettier sets that she struggled to see.
The racks work, but they feel less substantial than the tiles.
I might replace them eventually.
This was a birthday gift, and the recipient opened it straight away.
We ended up playing that afternoon.
The bag has enough room for the pieces, but I wish there were a separate pocket for the dice.
I love the design.
A couple of people in my group needed a few rounds to get used to the flowers.
Nothing fancy, just a solid set that does what we need.
Glad I didn’t spend more.
The tiles slide nicely on our mat.
On a bare table, they’re louder than I expected.
One rack arrived cracked.
The replacement was fine, but it meant I couldn’t use the full set that weekend.
I was worried the colors would be distracting.
In person, the contrast is actually quite good.
Very nice tiles, average packaging.
I would have liked a better presentation since this was a gift.
The set looks good on the table, but the pale lettering is harder to read in evening light.
We use this for beginner lessons.
The familiar symbols make teaching much easier.
I like that the tile backs are simple.
Some of the patterned sets are a bit busy for my taste.
The case handle isn’t comfortable when you’re carrying it for more than a few minutes.
My first impression was that the tiles were too small.
After two games, I stopped noticing.
The pushers are convenient once you get used to them.
One hinge is tighter than the others.
Beautiful colors, and they look nice with the plain mat I already had.
No need for matching everything.
I bought this mostly for the design, honestly.
Thankfully, it’s also comfortable to play with.
A perfectly good starter set.
The instructions alone weren’t enough for me to learn, though.
The tiles feel smooth without being slippery.
That was the biggest difference from my old set.
I wish the product photos showed the tile size in someone’s hand.
They’re chunkier than I imagined.
We’ve taken it to three different houses now.
Packing it up is quick once you work out the arrangement.
One of the printed numbers looks a little off-center.
Small thing, but now I always notice it.
I like the traditional faces much more than I expected.
Easy to read and easy to share with different groups.
This set gets compliments, but the best part is that nobody asks, “Which tile is that?”
The bag lining caught in the zipper the first time I closed it.
It works if I’m careful.
Nice enough to give as a gift, practical enough to actually use.
That’s what I was looking for.
I’m happy with the tiles.
I would have preferred the option to buy them without the accessories.
We play at a small dining table, and the racks take up more space than our old ones.
The colors looked brighter on my screen.
Still attractive, just not exactly what I pictured.
Bought it for our vacation rental.
It was a hit on the rainy afternoons.
The markings are clear, including the winds.
Much easier on my eyes than the set I borrowed.
There was a strong smell when I opened the bag.
It faded after I left it open for a couple of days.
Good set overall.
The dice are tiny and easy to lose, so I keep them in a separate pouch.
I wanted something special without spending a fortune.
This feels like a reasonable middle ground.
The tile edges are comfortable to handle.
No rough spots on the ones in my set.
My group prefers plainer designs, so this hasn’t become our regular set.
I still enjoy using it at home.
The storage trays keep everything organized, but getting the last few tiles out can be fiddly.
I’ve only played with it twice, so I can’t speak to durability yet.
First impressions are positive.
The thicker tiles feel nice in my hand, but they don’t sit particularly well on my old racks.
I’m glad I checked what was included.
You still need to budget for a mat if you want one.
Our current American kits include a playing mat. The model and date of this review were not provided.
The flowers are lovely, although they took me a little longer to recognize than the traditional ones.
We accidentally knocked a rack off the table.
The rack cracked, but the tiles seem fine.
I ordered this after learning with a borrowed set.
Having my own has made organizing games much easier.
It’s attractive, but I don’t think the finish matches the premium price.
A few details could be cleaner.
The magnetic pushers are my favorite part.
Much less fiddling around when we set up.
My husband doesn’t care what the tiles look like.
Even he commented that these feel nice.
I wish the bag opened a little wider.
The corners of the racks catch when I take them out.
The darker markings were the right choice for our room.
We don’t have particularly bright lighting.
This is our everyday set now.
Not precious about it, and so far it’s holding up well.
Beautiful when it arrived.
I’ve noticed a small chip on one tile, though I’m not sure when it happened.
I expected the case to be rigid from the photos.
It’s a soft bag, so keep that in mind.
Bought it for my grandmother, and she likes the size.
She did ask me to replace the tiny dice.
The suits are distinct enough that the unusual colors don’t slow us down.
That was my main worry.
Good value if you need the whole setup.
Less appealing if you already own racks and a case.
I enjoy the sound of these when we shuffle.
They have a satisfying weight without being too heavy.
The instructions were missing from my box.
Not a problem for us, but worth checking if you’re gifting it.
We had one tile missing and an extra of another.
It was sorted out, but count everything when it arrives.
The set is lovely.
I’d give the tiles higher marks than the bag and accessories.
I thought I wanted a really elaborate design.
After trying a few, I’m glad I chose something easier to read.
My friends love the colors.
I’m more impressed by how neatly it all packs away.
The racks slide around a little on our table.
They behave better on the mat.
It took me a game to adjust to the size, but I now prefer these to my smaller tiles.
There’s a slight difference in the depth of the engraving between a few tiles.
Doesn’t affect play for me.
I wouldn’t buy it just for the case.
The tiles themselves are the reason to choose this set.
I brought it to a mixed group of beginners and regular players.
Everyone managed the design without much trouble.
The white faces are a bit warmer in person, more ivory than bright white.
They look nice.
I can fit the set in my cupboard without rearranging everything.
A small thing, but I appreciate it.
The tiles feel good, but some of the decorative details are too fine for my eyesight.
I’ve wanted my own set for years.
This isn’t the fanciest one I considered, but I’m using it constantly.
One of the pushers doesn’t line up perfectly with its rack.
Still usable, just a little annoying.
I bought this on sale and feel good about the price.
At full price, I would have compared more options.
Nice for playing at home.
For travel, I’d choose something smaller and less heavy.
I like that the symbols are engraved.
My old set had markings that became difficult to read.
The tile pouch closes properly, but folding it back into the case takes more effort than it should.
This was meant to be my “special occasion” set.
I like it too much to leave it packed away.
The photos made the backs look textured.
They’re smooth; the pattern is just visual.
A couple of tiles had faint surface scratches straight out of the box.
Not enough for me to return it.
We’ve used it for several long afternoons, and I still find the markings comfortable to read.
The set came well protected.
Lots of packaging to remove, but nothing was damaged.
I wish replacement tiles were easier to order.
With kids around, losing one feels pretty likely.
I love the color combination, although I’d pair it with a plain mat.
A patterned mat felt too busy.
The racks are a good length for us.
My previous ones always felt a little cramped.
My friend has a much more expensive set.
I prefer hers aesthetically, but this one meets my needs.
The bag looks smart, but there isn’t much padding at the bottom.
I’m careful where I put it down.
I was nervous about buying without handling the tiles first.
They turned out to have the weight I wanted.
Pretty set, but I returned it because I couldn’t comfortably read some of the lighter markings.
We keep coming back to this one because setup is straightforward and everyone knows the symbols.
After a few months, I’m still happy with it.
If I changed one thing, it would be a sturdier carrying case.
